Mini Bananas & Autographs

Today we visited Children's Home #2, which was 4 hours drive away from Lanka's. This meant even more driving! It seems like everywhere we go there's at least 1 hr drive. We are getting really tired of sitting in cars by now...

Friedrick got a lot of flowers!

When we got there we served them lunch first thing. Those children eat a lot of rice! After lunch they sang some songs for us, and also recited some of their memory verses. We taught them how to sing "God's Love is Like a Circle", and then we passed out some gifts we brought along. One neat thing for us was signing autographs for them. They gathered around us with paper and pens and we were supposed to sign our names.

For breakfast, lunch and supper today we've had some amazing bananas. The bananas over here are really small and fat, but they're the sweetest bananas we've ever had!

Due to unrest in the village where we had planned our medical camp, Lanka has decided to cancel it for our safety. This means that tomorrow (Saturday) will be a fairly relaxed day for us.
