A New Day Dawns (Proceed with Caution)

We sat out in the courtyard again this morning- it's a wonderful way to start the day. After breakfast we visited the Good Life Boarding school. It was a one hour dive through some crazy India traffic. At the school we sang a few songs for the children and passed out candy for them. They all wanted to shake our hands. With 400 children that's a lot of hand shaking!

Ed & Joyce- meet Junior Bailey!

Good Life Boarding School

After lunch at Sam's we went to a slum where Sam also has a school. This was another hour drive through even more city traffic. We sang songs again there and passed out candy. We also met members of a church that meets there.

In the evening we visited Pastor Vijay on the other side of Hyderabad, which meant another 1 hour drive. There was a meeting of his Bible school students and their wives. We sang Christmas carols for them, and Dad had a message. Vijay also had Christmas gifts for the students, which we helped to pass out. We got our first true Indian meal of rice and curry for supper, which was a new experience for most of us.

It was a very long, tiring day for all us. It seemed twice as long because of all the driving!
