Our day started out very relaxed. We had the privilege of visiting the school in the forenoon, and attended their morning assembly. After the assembly we went back to the house for breakfast. At about 10:45 Hannah and I visited about six classrooms. All the classes were getting ready for a celebration on Saturday, so they were practicing their dancing. The afternoon was free, so we rested and took naps. We had an evening service that started around 8:30. It was a two hour drive from Lanka's house, so we we all tired of sitting in the car by the time we got there. It was an interesting service. Doran and Leroy had an object lesson for the people. It was the parable about the wise man and foolish man building their houses. They used bricks for the rocks and a pile of sand to set the cardboard houses on. They then used water to represent the storms and poured it over the foundations. The people really enjoyed it. Tom had the message on being connected to the vine from John 15. And. of course, there was food afterwards. Special food was made for us Americans, but some was forgotten, including potatoes. It was delicious, despite the absence of potatoes. Our ride home was very smooth because there was very little traffic. We arrived back at 12:20 and went straight to bed. Ruth

Nice visiting the classrooms. Seems the children are always friendly and glad to see you, right? Good lesson Leroy and Doran. Good choice of a message, Tom. You'all keep shining for the Lord!
