The day of surprises

The day started by watching the children having a athletic competition. Lanka then asked if we would like to go to a wedding reception. of course we would go. this was a two day affair. The groom would come tomorrow when the wedding is to be. Today was the reception for friends of the bride. They waited till Lanka came to pray a blessing on their marriage. So of course we all went up with him. Tom and Lanka led in pray. We then were taken to the next room and served a Indian wedding meal. We were watched as we ate with our fingers like all the rest.

The pouring of rice and flowers is a Indian blessing.

I knew the hotness of the food reached its limit with me as it brought on a hiccup. We had Mutton curry, shrimp and different rice and etc.

We did alittle shopping on the way home.

Tom and I shared with some area pastors in the evening.
We had a time of encouragement and prayer.


We finished the day with dinner at 10:00 and some fellowship afterward.
