7:30 Tuesday Evening: Guest Speaker
Chris Stoltzfus from PA, who has spent 21 months in the Middle East reaching out to Muslims will be here to share his experience and to make us aware of the needs in that area. His presentation will include a slide show.
There will be no prayer meeting on Wednesday evening.
Reorganization
We want to involve you as a church in the selection process for the 2009/2010 positions to be filled. Suggestion Sheets will be passed out this morning. Please fill them out prayerfully and drop them in the designated mailbox area by next Sunday, August 30th. Plans are to have the ballot ready for voting September 13th. Thank you for being involved!
Prayer Request
Katie and Karla left Tuesday and arrived safely in Thailand on Thursday. We thank the Lord for safe traveling. Thank you for your past and continuing prayer
on their behalf as they pour themselves into learning and ministry for the Lord. Classes begin Monday morning.
Outdoor Hymn Sing
Next Sunday Evening is our outdoor Hymn Sing at Rabers’ 40 Acres.
The committee will be roasting hot dogs and they are asking that we all bring
finger foods along.
Samaritans’ Shoeboxes
Now is an ideal time to buy your supplies for our upcoming Shoe Box program. There is a good selection of Back to School supplies available right now at bargain prices. They could give more shoeboxes to needy children if the materials come in.
